Ciprian Istrătescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Papaiani in the 6th minute of the match. Octav Papaiani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavius Gheară made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Almăgean in the 14th minute of play. Ciprian Istrătescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Papaiani, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. CS.GLORIA CTP ARAD's Adrian Ceaușescu got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Malina's Ciprian Istrătescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Papaiani in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Dorel Cerghizan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Octav Papaiani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciprian Istrătescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Ceaușescu's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Dorel Cerghizan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Flavius Gheară tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Traian Almăgean was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Doru Budianu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to CS.GLORIA CTP ARAD getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Dan Vulturar hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorel Cerghizan in the 56th minute of play forced CS.GLORIA CTP ARAD's goalkeeper Flavius Gheară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Malina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Adrian Ceaușescu scored to the left of an out of position Ciprian Istrătescu, making the score, 1-1. After 64 played minutes, FC Malina's Nicodim Dumitrache shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flavius Gheară came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Malina reached it. Octav Papaiani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Malina's Ciprian Istrătescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Ceaușescu in the 73rd minute of play. Dorel Cerghizan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Flavius Gheară tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Malina's goalkeeper Ciprian Istrătescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Traian Almăgean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Flavius Gheară tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
