An unexpectedly hard shot by Sever Breazu in the 6th minute of play forced Fc Rapid's goalkeeper Șerban Hanganu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sever Breazu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Șerban Hanganu having to interfere. Sever Breazu might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Șerban Hanganu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sever Breazu ran back to his position shaking his head. Gheorghe Ţiriac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gheorghe Ţiriac came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Gods Of The Arena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gheorghe Ţiriac couldn't finish the play. Fc Rapid's Augustin Obregia got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gheorghe Ţiriac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Fc Rapid's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Breazu came free, but Șerban Hanganu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Sever Breazu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fc Rapid's Șerban Hanganu. Șerban Hanganu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Sever Breazu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gods Of The Arena's supporters rose to their feet, but Sever Breazu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Șerban Hanganu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38thth minute of the game Sever Breazu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Rapid's Șerban Hanganu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augustin Obregia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viorel Vişoianu having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Mihai Urducea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gods Of The Arena and the Fc Rapid players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Gods Of The Arena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Urducea to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 44 minutes, Augustin Obregia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Rapid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augustin Obregia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mihai Urducea kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Fc Rapid players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gods Of The Arena were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augustin Obregia to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Gods Of The Arena's Octavian Tăutu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Octav Rusu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Șerban Hanganu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Breazu in the 57th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Octavian Tăutu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gods Of The Arena and the Fc Rapid players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Gods Of The Arena got a freekick which was hit by Octavian Tăutu. 68 minutes into the match, Augustin Obregia notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gods Of The Arena's Viorel Vişoianu. Viorel Vişoianu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sorin Pârlog kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Gods Of The Arena's Emanuel Petriceanu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Viorel Vişoianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Rusu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Octav Rusu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Octav Lucănescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gods Of The Arena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Rapid the free kick. The supporters of Fc Rapid booed when Gods Of The Arena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Lucănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Augustin Obregia came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Fc Rapid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustin Obregia couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Sorin Pârlog managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Rapid's supporters rose to their feet, but Sorin Pârlog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viorel Vişoianu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gods Of The Arena players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fc Rapid.
