Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Ionel Lopatnicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Breazu in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Feru booed when Gods Of The Arena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Urducea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gheorghe Ţiriac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ionel Lopatnicu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sergiu Mușetescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gheorghe Ţiriac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionel Lopatnicu having to interfere. Viorel Vişoianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Mușetescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes of play, Feru's Eusebiu Prunaru made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viorel Vişoianu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octavian Tăutu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Eusebiu Prunaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebiu Prunaru succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. In the 41st minute, Sergiu Mușetescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Ţiriac in the 45th minute of play forced Feru's goalkeeper Ionel Lopatnicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sever Breazu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Sever Breazu made the kick off in the second half. Octav Lucănescu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the game, Eusebiu Prunaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Viorel Vişoianu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gheorghe Ţiriac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Feru's Andrei Astafei got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebiu Prunaru in the 69th minute of play forced Gods Of The Arena's goalkeeper Viorel Vişoianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 71 minutes on the clock, Gigel Apăvăloaie commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gods Of The Arena! In the 76th minute, Traian Amurăriței hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Gods Of The Arena's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Mușetescu came free, but Viorel Vişoianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gods Of The Arena getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Emanuel Petriceanu hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes, Feru's Martin Chițac shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Viorel Vişoianu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Feru reached it. When Eusebiu Prunaru came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Feru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebiu Prunaru couldn't finish the play. Ionel Lopatnicu came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Gods Of The Arena's Gheorghe Ţiriac. But to his dismay, Gheorghe Ţiriac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrei Astafei during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 98th minute, Andrei Astafei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Feru fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gods Of The Arena had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
