If Paul Stejaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Mugur Ionescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Baldovinescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ionel Cârneci fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DrumLung's protests and gave Ionel Cârneci a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Ionel Cârneci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Daniel Bejenaru sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and DrumLung's Ionuț Șora didn't even have to move. Fitod's Nechifor Baldovinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Isăilă in the 24th minute of play. Tudor Turcan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Ionuț Șora made a huge save. After 29 minutes, Narcis Cristescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DrumLung and the Fitod players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Paul Stejaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Isăilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Nechifor Baldovinescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul Stejaru made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Tudor Turcan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DrumLung's Ionuț Șora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ionuț Șora came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Fitod's Tudor Turcan. But to his dismay, Tudor Turcan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ionuț Șora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Stejaru's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Tudor Turcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ionuț Șora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Fitod booed when DrumLung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Achifoaiei didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd match minute, DrumLung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Pârvuță to maneuver through the defense. Tudor Turcan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Stejaru in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionuț Șora saved DrumLung from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Paul Stejaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionuț Șora was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Stejaru in the 94th minute of play forced DrumLung's goalkeeper Ionuț Șora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paul Stejaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fitod walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
