Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Toader Căplescu made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Drăucean in the 3rd minute of play forced F.C Târgoviște's goalkeeper Valentin Baciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toader Căplescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Dragotescu having to interfere. After 8 minutes of play, F.C Târgoviște's Eric Elisei made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Dragotescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th match minute, F.C Târgoviște was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toader Băncilă to maneuver through the defense. Niculae Dobrotă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Octavian Drăucean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hotarel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavian Drăucean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Baciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Hotarel FC booed when F.C Târgoviște was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iurie Băbescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niculae Dobrotă's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Valentin Baciu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Octavian Drăucean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hotarel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavian Drăucean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Ionuț Pușcariu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hotarel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C Târgoviște the free kick. Iurie Băbescu kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Niculae Dobrotă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Toader Căplescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Manuel Dragotescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute of the match Nicodim Brânzeu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Dragotescu skillfully saved the ball. When Eric Elisei came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the F.C Târgoviște fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Elisei couldn't finish the play. Eric Elisei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niculae Dobrotă to strike the kick off in the second half. Hotarel FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Manuel Dragotescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toader Căplescu in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute Toader Căplescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Dragotescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eric Elisei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Elisei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Manuel Dragotescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over F.C Târgoviște could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hotarel FC throughout the match.
