Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 9 minutes into the match, George Şuteu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kadicsfalva UFC's Gigel Sandu. Gigel Sandu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 13 minutes, Ioan Novacovici mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kadicsfalva UFC and the Napoca United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kadicsfalva UFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Alex Vlăsiu walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Gică Scaeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gică Scaeru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Lăzărescu in the 37th minute of play forced Kadicsfalva UFC's goalkeeper Gigel Sandu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39thth minute of the game George Şuteu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kadicsfalva UFC's Gigel Sandu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alex Lăzărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Sandu having to interfere. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Radu Maftei got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 49 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nistor Nicoliță was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Kadicsfalva UFC's Nistor Nicoliță sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nistor Bălașa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alex Lăzărescu struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Gigel Sandu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Napoca United. Nistor Bălașa came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Kadicsfalva UFC's Gică Scaeru. But to his dismay, Gică Scaeru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to Napoca United getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Calistrat Creteanu hit a great ball. Ioan Novacovici was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Calistrat Creteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigel Sandu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but George Şuteu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 87 minute of play. Nistor Nicoliță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes Napoca United got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Creteanu. A nice corner shot did that Ioan Novacovici got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nistor Bălașa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Napoca United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
