The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Stejaru was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, F.C Târgoviște's goalkeeper Valentin Baciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tudor Turcan. Paul Stejaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Baciu having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 61st minute when Toader Căplescu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 64 played minutes F.C Târgoviște got a freekick which was hit by Ionel Iorgu. After a rather tough play, F.C Târgoviște's Iurie Băbescu got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 75 minutes, Toader Băncilă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C Târgoviște and the Fitod players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The F.C Târgoviște fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fitod had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
