Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dumitru Găman came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Steaua Lăschia's Costică Anghelescu. But to his dismay, Costică Anghelescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Calistrat Bădiliță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augustin Unciuleanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mugur Macovei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dumitru Găman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Petrin in the 26th minute of the match. Victor Petrin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Victor Petrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Victor Petrin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steaua Lăschia's Mugur Macovei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Baldovinescu in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chionea's goalkeeper Dumitru Găman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Calistrat Bădiliță came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Steaua Lăschia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calistrat Bădiliță couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narcis Baldovinescu made a kick off. In the 57th minute Calistrat Bădiliță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Găman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dumitru Găman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Bădiliță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dumitru Găman was a little too slow when Calistrat Bădiliță got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Calistrat Bădiliță managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steaua Lăschia's supporters rose to their feet, but Calistrat Bădiliță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dumitru Găman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Narcis Baldovinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Macovei having to interfere. Calistrat Bădiliță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Augustin Unciuleanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chionea's supporters rose to their feet, but Augustin Unciuleanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugur Macovei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Bădiliță in the 92nd minute of play forced Chionea's goalkeeper Dumitru Găman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toader Petre kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
