Panic AC's Liviu Zmărăndache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iurie Șeitan in the 16th minute of play. If Alexandru Lipan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Alexandru Lipan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gelu Iriza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Zmărăndache having to interfere. Alexandru Lipan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Petre Darabonț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Castelldefels getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Flavius Encea hit a great ball. Iurie Șeitan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Zmărăndache having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gheorghe Şendrea was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, FC Castelldefels's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Şendrea came free, but Petre Darabonț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gheorghe Şendrea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petre Darabonț was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Panic AC. After some careless play in the Panic AC defense, Iurie Șeitan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Liviu Zmărăndache. The Panic AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Liviu Zmărăndache should have stopped the shot. Narcis Barbăneagră sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Castelldefels's Petre Darabonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Şendrea in the 83rd minute of play. Iurie Rainea charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iurie Rainea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Iurie Rainea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, FC Castelldefels's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Şendrea came free, but Petre Darabonț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iurie Șeitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Castelldefels could leave the field as winners, despite Panic AC having more of the ball for most of the match.
