The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silviu Hâldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Claudiu Mălaimare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the game, Kiskede's Silviu Hâldan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dumitru Găman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Silviu Hâldan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Dumitru Găman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Toader Petre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chionea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toader Petre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Silviu Hâldan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dumitru Găman was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, Silviu Hâldan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dumitru Găman. Chionea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silviu Hâldan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Narcis Baldovinescu charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narcis Baldovinescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Narcis Baldovinescu hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Silviu Hâldan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiskede's supporters rose to their feet, but Silviu Hâldan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dumitru Găman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Augustin Unciuleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Chionea's goalkeeper Dumitru Găman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liviu Onea. If Augustin Unciuleanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narcis Baldovinescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Onea in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dumitru Găman saved Chionea from getting behind. When Silviu Hâldan came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Kiskede fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silviu Hâldan couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute Silviu Hâldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Găman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Claudiu Mălaimare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dumitru Găman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silviu Hâldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augustin Unciuleanu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Kiskede's Silviu Hâldan got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Kiskede defense, Narcis Baldovinescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcu Curea. The Kiskede fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcu Curea should have stopped the shot. Chionea's Augustin Unciuleanu got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silviu Hâldan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Liviu Onea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kiskede's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
