Dorel Șişman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Emilian Cinteză made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ştefan Poplăcean during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Topilele booed when Ostrovul Q was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Poplăcean didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Ostrovul Q's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Bîlbă came free, but Emilian Cinteză reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Dorel Șişman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Topilele's Claudiu Banu got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Maxim Bîlbă recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emilian Cinteză. Maxim Bîlbă showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Constantin Iorgulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Emilian Cinteză was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ostrovul Q's Emilian Cinteză played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorel Șişman in the 76th minute of play. Maxim Bîlbă struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Emilian Cinteză didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Topilele. Emilian Cinteză showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorel Șişman in the 91st minute of the match. If Maxim Bîlbă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
