Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Maxim Bîlbă got the match started through his kick off. Iosif Şuţu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Costache in the 2nd minute of play. A collision led to Olteni CSS getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Codrin Opaina hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Olteni CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Bîlbă came free, but Marcel Buciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iosif Şuţu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Florean in the 11th minute of play. Mugurel Drăgănoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Marcel Buciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Topilele's Maxim Bîlbă got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iosif Şuţu came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Olteni CSS's Claudiu Marina. But to his dismay, Claudiu Marina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Marina in the 19th minute of play forced Topilele's goalkeeper Iosif Şuţu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Topilele's Gigel Robescu got a free kick in the 19th minute. The supporters of Topilele booed when Olteni CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Opaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes Olteni CSS got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Costache. Iosif Şuţu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Florean in the 29th minute of the match. With a little luck, Olteni CSS's Marcel Buciu got control of the ball when Dorel Șişman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maxim Bîlbă scored 2-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Buciu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Narcis Costache kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Olteni CSS's Codrin Opaina got a free kick in the 38th minute. Claudiu Banu might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcel Buciu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudiu Banu ran back to his position shaking his head. Iosif Şuţu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Costache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudiu Banu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Marcel Buciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantin Iorgulescu got free with Marcel Buciu in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Emanuel Florean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olteni CSS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Florean to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Olteni CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narcis Costache to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes, Topilele's Matei Tache shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcel Buciu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Topilele reached it. Emanuel Florean hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Mugurel Drăgănoiu struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Marcel Buciu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Topilele. If Constantin Iorgulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Topilele's Mugurel Drăgănoiu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Narcis Vasilian, made in the 65th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mugurel Drăgănoiu in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Buciu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olteni CSS's Marcel Buciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Iorgulescu in the 70th minute of play. If Claudiu Banu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Bîlbă in the 73rd minute of play forced Olteni CSS's goalkeeper Marcel Buciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Buciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Șişman, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Topilele's goalkeeper Iosif Şuţu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudiu Marina. After a rather tough play, Topilele's Constantin Iorgulescu got a free kick in the 81st minute. Iosif Şuţu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Florean in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Gigel Robescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Topilele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigel Robescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Codrin Opaina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th match minute, Olteni CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codrin Opaina to maneuver through the defense. Maxim Bîlbă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Buciu having to interfere.
