Spectators: 7492 (Terracing: 5658, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 100) Iacob Chiriac made the kick off and thus started the match. Martin Nițisor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Chiriac in the 9th minute of play. Grigore Stoiciu charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grigore Stoiciu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Super Buni's Grigore Stoiciu got a free kick in the 14th minute. Marin Codreanu, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to BSC Young Boys getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Vlad Baștină hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, FC Super Buni's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Chiriac came free, but Martin Nițisor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radu Gorjanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Martin Nițisor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, FC Super Buni's Gelu Măgură threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emanuel Dragu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Adam Drăgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38thth minute of the game Emanuel Dragu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BSC Young Boys's Gelu Măgură was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 39 minutes, Vlad Baștină mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BSC Young Boys and the FC Super Buni players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes BSC Young Boys got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Baștină. A collision led to BSC Young Boys getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marian Turdeanu hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Dragu to strike the kick off in the second half. If Radu Gorjanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iacob Chiriac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Nițisor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radu Gorjanu in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Radu Gorjanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. BSC Young Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Radu Gorjanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Nițisor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of BSC Young Boys booed when FC Super Buni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Stoiciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radu Gorjanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gelu Măgură made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Drăgan in the 66th minute of play. BSC Young Boys's Gelu Măgură played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Drăgan in the 72nd minute of play. Radu Gorjanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Martin Nițisor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
