Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Francisc Câmpeanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Teodor Antim hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Gelu Barbăroșie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Antim in the 5th minute of the match. Gelu Barbăroșie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Lesnea, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Gelu Barbăroșie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sorin Macamete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, George Mugur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vladomira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stoicani FC the free kick. In the 12th minute, Nechifor Caramarin made a precise shot to the right of Gelu Barbăroșie. Vladomira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Liviu Lesnea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Barbăroșie having to interfere. After 18th play minutes Liviu Lesnea shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Gelu Barbăroșie and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Vladomira's Gigi Gâțea got a free kick in the 29th minute. Gelu Barbăroșie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liviu Lesnea's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Teodor Antim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoicani FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodor Antim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Vladomira defense, Liviu Lesnea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gelu Barbăroșie. The Vladomira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gelu Barbăroșie should have stopped the shot. When Stoicani FC's Liviu Lesnea in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vladomira's goalie prevented a goal. Gelu Barbăroșie came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Stoicani FC's Sorin Macamete. But to his dismay, Sorin Macamete quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liviu Lesnea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Liviu Lesnea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Barbăroșie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sorin Macamete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Barbăroșie having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Stoicani FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Zorlescu. Sorin Macamete kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Liviu Lesnea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gelu Barbăroșie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liviu Lesnea in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gelu Barbăroșie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vladomira's goalkeeper Gelu Barbăroșie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rdth minute of the game Liviu Lesnea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vladomira's Gelu Barbăroșie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gelu Barbăroșie acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Șerban Nedelcea. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Lesnea in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gelu Barbăroșie saved Vladomira from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Nechifor Caramarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Liviu Lesnea did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Gelu Barbăroșie 92 minutes into the match. Sorin Macamete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Stoicani FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vladomira throughout the match.
