With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabin Răcănel in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moise Pârcălab saved gura rosie from getting behind. After 9 minutes gura rosie's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ferdinand Bârza who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Valentin Zăgănescu drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind gura rosie's goalkeeper. In the 14th minute Valentin Zăgănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Pârcălab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panait Albu's late challenge caught a Vartopul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panait Albu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Panait Albu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vartopul's Sabin Răcănel got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Valentin Zăgănescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vartopul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Moise Pârcălab didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Zăgănescu went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Codrin Bântu hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Zăgănescu in the 30th minute of play forced gura rosie's goalkeeper Moise Pârcălab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabin Răcănel struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Moise Pârcălab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vartopul. Sabin Răcănel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Pârcălab having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Costin Penescu was the one to do the kick off. Moise Pârcălab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Zăgănescu in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Vartopul's Ion Zota sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moise Pârcălab narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Costin Penescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance for a goal. gura rosie's Moise Pârcălab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save gura rosie from getting a goal against them. Vartopul played a much better game than gura rosie and deserved their victory. The gura rosie players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
