Pantazi's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezar Bădoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dragoş Hâncu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ştefan Isaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Pantazi booed when Oniga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Druță didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Pantazi were awarded a corner. Mihnea Floricel went to the cornerflag to take it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petre Zegreanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Ştefan Isaia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Cezar Bădoi sped through Oniga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dragoş Hâncu. Oniga's Dragoş Hâncu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezar Bădoi in the 60th minute of play. If Cezar Bădoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. With a little luck, Pantazi's Fabian Marian got control of the ball when Marian Simionescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Isaia in the 90th minute of play forced Oniga's goalkeeper Dragoş Hâncu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragoş Hâncu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Isaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
