Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gabriel Ştefănoiu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Horia Chirilă took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Marian. Fabian Marian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Eric Piţurcă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Panin, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Ştefan Isaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Piţurcă having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, INTERNATIONALE FC's goalkeeper Eric Piţurcă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remus Panin. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cezar Bădoi in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Piţurcă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. INTERNATIONALE FC's Eric Piţurcă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save INTERNATIONALE FC from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute Pantazi were awarded a corner. Ştefan Isaia went to the cornerflag to take it. Fabian Marian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Ştefănoiu in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pantazi's Remus Panin got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ştefan Isaia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Eric Piţurcă when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cezar Bădois short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Eric Piţurcă to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Ştefănoiu during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gabriel Ştefănoiu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Ştefan Isaia succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Eric Piţurcă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezar Bădoi in the 40th minute of the match. Ştefan Isaia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niculae Inculeț kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Cezar Bădoi made the kick off in the second half. If Cezar Bădoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezar Bădoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Eric Piţurcă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, INTERNATIONALE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cezar Bădoi came free, but Eric Piţurcă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cezar Bădoi in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Piţurcă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Remus Panin struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Eric Piţurcă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pantazi. In the 74th minute Cezar Bădoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Piţurcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Ştefan Isaia notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of INTERNATIONALE FC's Eric Piţurcă. Eric Piţurcă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Remus Panin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pantazi's supporters rose to their feet, but Remus Panin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Piţurcă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cezar Bădoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Eric Piţurcă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Piţurcă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezar Bădoi in the 87th minute of the match. Remus Panin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Piţurcă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Mihăiţă Craia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Remus Panin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Piţurcă. INTERNATIONALE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remus Panin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pantazi had played much better football throughout.
