With a little luck, Cotenesti FC's Marcel Voinea got control of the ball when Remus Arnăuțescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ioan Rada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ioan Rada made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, FC Gura-Bustei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Pamfil to maneuver through the defense. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Voinea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcel Voinea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ioan Rada, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Adrian Glăvan hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Marcel Voinea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remus Arnăuțescu's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. When Ioan Rada, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 74 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marcel Voinea was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Marcel Voinea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ioan Rada's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. A collision led to FC Gura-Bustei getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Maxim Pamfil hit a great ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gura-Bustei's goalkeeper Petre Prelipceanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Gura-Bustei's Petre Prelipceanu got control of the ball when Leonard Lovinescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Gura-Bustei's Ioan Rada got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cotenesti FC's Marcel Voinea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ioan Rada in the 97th minute of play. FC Gura-Bustei's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
