Spectators: 6878 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Codrin Georgescu started the match with the kick off. Remus Arnăuțescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Hălmăgeanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Codrin Georgescu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 7th minute of the match Stelian Bosioc sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeo Hălmăgeanu skillfully saved the ball. Petre Prelipceanu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 9th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 13 played minutes Berca got a freekick which was hit by Costică Curteanu. Costică Curteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Petre Prelipceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Rareș Jugănaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Gura-Bustei and the Berca players grew even worse after the yellow card. 23 minutes into the match, Berca's Codrin Georgescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petre Prelipceanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 25 minutes of play, FC Gura-Bustei's Ioan Rada made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeo Hălmăgeanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Berca's goalkeeper Romeo Hălmăgeanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 35 minutes, Ioan Rada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Gura-Bustei's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ioan Rada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Remus Arnăuțescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berca's Romeo Hălmăgeanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romeo Hălmăgeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Arnăuțescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ioan Rada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Romeo Hălmăgeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ioan Rada was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Berca's Nichifor Ciolac got a free kick in the 51st minute. 56 minutes into the game, Nichifor Ciolac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Berca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Gura-Bustei the free kick. Costică Curteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Prelipceanu having to interfere. If Remus Arnăuțescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Hălmăgeanu was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Ioan Rada capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ioan Rada really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Ioan Rada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Ioan Rada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Hălmăgeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Gura-Bustei's Maxim Pamfil got a free kick in the 76th minute. Codrin Georgescu struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Petre Prelipceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berca. In the 94th minute Ioan Rada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Hălmăgeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remus Arnăuțescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, FC Gura-Bustei's Ioan Rada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romeo Hălmăgeanu. Romeo Hălmăgeanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The Berca supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Gura-Bustei's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Gura-Bustei.
