Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) After 4 played minutes, Oniga's Iurie Izbașa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Codruț Vişan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oniga reached it. Vulturii Giulvăz's Codruț Vişan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Tunar in the 8th minute of play. Codruț Vişan came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Oniga's Petre Zegreanu. But to his dismay, Petre Zegreanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Tunar in the 24th minute of play forced Vulturii Giulvăz's goalkeeper Codruț Vişan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Petre Zegreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Tunar in the 32nd minute of play forced Vulturii Giulvăz's goalkeeper Codruț Vişan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Vintilescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Dragoş Hâncu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luca Tunar took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codruț Vişan. Codruț Vişan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 41st minute Luca Tunar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Vişan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codruț Vişan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Tunar, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Petre Zegreanu struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Codruț Vişan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oniga. After the first half Oniga were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luca Tunar was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Oniga's Iordache Codrescu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Cristian Ciocan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dragoş Hâncu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragoş Costandin in the 57th minute of play. Codruț Vişan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Tunar, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Dragoş Costandin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragoş Hâncu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Oniga's zone, Dragoş Costandin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragoş Hâncu came out of the goal and Dragoş Costandin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Codruț Vişan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luca Tunar in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Vulturii Giulvăz's Emanuel Zglobiu got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Iordache Codrescu took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codruț Vişan. Codruț Vişan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Dragoş Costandin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Vulturii Giulvăz's Codruț Vişan got control of the ball when Iordache Codrescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luca Tunar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dragoş Hâncu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Ciocan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Luca Tunar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
