Fabian Marian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Chevereșan in the 3rd minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Cezar Bădoi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pavel Costăchescu, 1-0. When Daniel Chevereșan came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the St. Pauli -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Chevereșan couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Chevereșan in the 15th minute of play forced Pantazi's goalkeeper Fabian Marian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cezar Bădoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Pavel Costăchescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ştefan Isaia got free with Pavel Costăchescu in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Pantazi's Ilie Bârlă slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pavel Costăchescu. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. Dan Panțâru kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Daniel Chevereșan came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the St. Pauli -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Chevereșan couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Şuplăcan made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ilie Bârlă immediately put the ball in play. St. Pauli -MM-'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Ilie Bârlă scored to the left of an out of position Pavel Costăchescu, making the score, 3-0. With a little luck, St. Pauli -MM-'s Pavel Costăchescu got control of the ball when Ştefan Isaia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Daniel Chevereșan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Marian was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Chevereșan was the one to do the kick off. Ilie Bârlă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Daniel Chevereșan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 60th minute of the match Dan Panțâru completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dan Panțâru a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Pantazi's Dan Panțâru got a free kick in the 60th minute. Ilie Bârlă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. If Cezar Bădoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eric Vasiloiu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Costică Nițu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Costăchescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the St. Pauli -MM- defense, Ilie Bârlă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavel Costăchescu. The St. Pauli -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavel Costăchescu should have stopped the shot. In the 85th match minute, Pantazi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Şuplăcan to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Marian made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Daniel Chevereșan sent off a good shot on target. Ilie Bârlă kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. St. Pauli -MM-'s Daniel Chevereșan got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Chevereșan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Marian having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the St. Pauli -MM- players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pantazi.
