Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Purcaru kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Daniel Purcaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sparta do Prague FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Purcaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugur Cristea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Bordeianu in the 18th minute of play forced Sparta do Prague FC's goalkeeper Traian Zeciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avram Bordeianu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Traian Zeciu came out and tried to block the shot, but Avram Bordeianu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. Sparta do Prague FC's Traian Zeciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Sparta do Prague FC from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Daniel Purcaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marius Pașcalău fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Traian Zeciu having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sparta do Prague FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! 2-0 came through a penalty shot after 33 played minutes, when CS Virciorova:s Emanuel Suciu calmly waited for Sparta do Prague FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Daniel Purcaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Cristea having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Daniel Purcaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mugur Cristea. CS Virciorova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Purcaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Sparta do Prague FC's Romeo Mihaiu got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The wind increased when Avram Bordeianu made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sparta do Prague FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Romeo Mihaiu hit a great ball. Traian Zeciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Bordeianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Vrejiu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Mugur Cristea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Purcaru in the 77th minute of the match. CS Virciorova's Avram Bordeianu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sparta do Prague FC. Daniel Purcaru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mugur Cristea came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Purcaru slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 89th minute. Marius Pașcalău hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Sparta do Prague FC's Traian Zeciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Eftimescu in the 96th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the CS Virciorova players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
