Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Gigi Ursulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Neagu having to interfere. After 4 minutes, Ivan Dumitrana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Madrid FC and the Sarbestii CSM players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Ivan Dumitrana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the game, one of Sarbestii CSM:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Real Madrid FC. Deep Doro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Octav Bosânceanu. 0-1. In the 14th minute, Pompiliu Ardelean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sarbestii CSM's Octav Bosânceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Vuşcan in the 15th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Sarbestii CSM got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Şoimu. In the 17th minute Cristinel Alecu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Bosânceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Neagu came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarbestii CSM's Gigi Ursulescu. But to his dismay, Gigi Ursulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 28th minute, Cristinel Alecu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cristinel Alecu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octav Bosânceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Vuşcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Edgar Vuşcan struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Octav Bosânceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madrid FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristinel Alecu in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octav Bosânceanu saved Sarbestii CSM from getting behind. Sarbestii CSM's Pompiliu Ardelean got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 43 minutes, Cristinel Alecu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Madrid FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristinel Alecu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the match, Real Madrid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Panait came free, but Denis Neagu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Alecu in the 55th minute of play forced Sarbestii CSM's goalkeeper Octav Bosânceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octav Bosânceanu was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Cristinel Alecu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristinel Alecu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. If Edgar Vuşcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Botea during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Albert Botea kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. If Gigi Ursulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. Edgar Vuşcan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Octav Bosânceanu made a huge save. In the 85th minute Cristinel Alecu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Bosânceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristinel Alecu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Octav Bosânceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sarbestii CSM's zone, Cristinel Alecu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octav Bosânceanu came out of the goal and Cristinel Alecu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Sarbestii CSM's goalkeeper Octav Bosânceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Vuşcan. Edgar Vuşcan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octav Bosânceanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Real Madrid FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
