Spectators: 7471 (Terracing: 5604, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Avram Bordeianu started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, David Cândea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ticitaca sepsi osk's supporters rose to their feet, but David Cândea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugur Cristea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrian Bratu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Mugur Cristea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Avram Bordeianu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marius Pașcalău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CS Virciorova's Mugur Cristea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Cândea in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to CS Virciorova getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Augustin Avarvarei hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, CS Virciorova's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Bratu came free, but Mugur Cristea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marius Pașcalău could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but George Sucigan made a huge save. Marius Arghiroiu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Radu Mergea sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CS Virciorova's Mugur Cristea didn't even have to move. David Cândea struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Mugur Cristea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ticitaca sepsi osk. Adrian Bratu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Mugur Cristea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugur Cristea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Bratu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The long shot by Robert Ciorobîtcă in the 33rd minute really tested George Sucigan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Marius Pașcalău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avram Bordeianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Sucigan having to interfere. George Sucigan made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Marius Pașcalău sent off a good shot on target. When Robert Molodețiu fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ticitaca sepsi osk's protests and gave Robert Molodețiu a yellow card for diving instead. Robert Molodețiu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Edgar Mohora's late challenge caught a CS Virciorova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Mohora helped the player get up and apologised. After 49 minutes of play Ticitaca sepsi osk's Robert Molodețiu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 50th minute, Robert Molodețiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Avram Bordeianu in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Sucigan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Marius Pașcalău recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ticitaca sepsi osk's George Sucigan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Pașcalău in the 58th minute of play. Aron Antoniu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Cristea having to interfere. Avram Bordeianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Sucigan having to interfere. David Cândea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Mugur Cristea made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Radu Mergea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Sucigan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Bordeianu in the 83rd minute of play. David Cândea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Cristea having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CS Virciorova's zone, Aron Antoniu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugur Cristea came out of the goal and Aron Antoniu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Radu Mergea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
