Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sebastian Pătrașcu got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Movilele booed when Corsorul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Aaxiniei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corsorul's Augustin Sasu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Nero in the 5th minute of play. Dorel Stroie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sebastian Pătrașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Pătrașcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Cordescu in the 19th minute of play. Eduard Pătrașcu made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Romeo Barbălată sent off a good shot on target. The long shot by Sergiu Aaxiniei in the 24th minute really tested Eduard Pătrașcu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 30th minute, Romeo Barbălată hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduard Pătrașcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Dedu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Cordescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Calistrat Chiriac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Cordescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Eduard Pătrașcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

60 minutes into the match, Movilele's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Dedu came free, but Eduard Pătrașcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marian Buta during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, one of Movilele:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Movilele. Eduard Pătrașcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Dedu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Dedu in the 67th minute of play forced Movilele's goalkeeper Eduard Pătrașcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Movilele's Eduard Pătrașcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Cordescu in the 68th minute of play.
