Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Edgar Cordescu made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2ndth minute of the game Șerban Mușat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corsorul's Augustin Sasu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ionică Homeag during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Mihnea Smarandache fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baba's protests and gave Mihnea Smarandache a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Baba got a freekick which was hit by Mihnea Smarandache. Florin Grozăvescu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ionică Homeag recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Șerban Mușat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Augustin Sasu managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Baba's Moise Spoială fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ionică Homeag was shown his second yellow card after 26 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Moise Spoială sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Corsorul's Paul Dedu in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baba's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Șerban Mușat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augustin Sasu was relentless in the 35th minute of the game.

Romeo Barbălată hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes, Ferdinand Mereuță mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corsorul and the Baba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ferdinand Mereuță hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Șerban Mușat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corsorul's Edgar Cordescu got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Baba's goalkeeper Codruț Roșeanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Dedu. If Moise Spoială had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Corsorul got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Cordescu. Corsorul's Ferdinand Mereuță got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Ferdinand Mereuță off the ground. In the 84th minute, Călin Stoleru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Moise Spoială had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Corsorul players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Baba.
