In the 3rd minute Manole Epure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Stoican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurențiu Stoican showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Epure, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The Ultramax1000 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 8th minute Martin Ciocoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Stoican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Epure in the 9th minute of play forced Gauriciu FC's goalkeeper Laurențiu Stoican to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ioan Mantu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. A collision led to Gauriciu FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cosmin Corlățean hit a great ball. Gauriciu FC's Laurențiu Stoican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Grădinaru in the 32nd minute of play. Vasile Popovici hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Virgil Codrescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vintilă Grădinaru to make the kick off. Virgil Codrescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Răzvan Vaştag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurențiu Stoican showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Ciocoiu in the 54th minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Virgil Codrescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gauriciu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgil Codrescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laurențiu Stoican came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Ultramax1000's Manole Epure. But to his dismay, Manole Epure quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Mădălin Manolache kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manole Epure got free with Laurențiu Stoican in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laurențiu Stoican made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Grădinaru in the 69th minute of play. When Gauriciu FC's Virgil Codrescu, in the 72nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Gauriciu FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Codrescu in the 75th minute of play forced Ultramax1000's goalkeeper Răzvan Vaştag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Răzvan Vaştag showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Zgondea, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Codrescu in the 78th minute of play forced Ultramax1000's goalkeeper Răzvan Vaştag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurențiu Stoican made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Manole Epure sent off a good shot on target. Răzvan Vaştag stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgil Codrescu's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Răzvan Vaştag took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosmin Corlățean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurențiu Stoican was a little too slow when Vintilă Grădinaru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 90th minute, Martin Ciocoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Ultramax1000 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
