Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgil Codrescu started the match with the kick off. Gauriciu FC's Laurențiu Stoican proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Gauriciu FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Gauriciu FC's Virgil Codrescu got a free kick in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Gauriciu FC's goalkeeper Laurențiu Stoican had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Barbălată. Ioan Mantu charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ioan Mantu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Corsorul booed when Gauriciu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ioan Mantu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurențiu Stoican took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionică Homeag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gauriciu FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ioan Mantu hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Romeo Barbălată took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Laurențiu Stoican to make any attempt to save it. After 21 played minutes Gauriciu FC got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Corlățean. In the 23rdth minute of the game Virgil Codrescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corsorul's Augustin Sasu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, Paul Dedu made a precise shot to the right of Laurențiu Stoican. Gauriciu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Ionică Homeag's late challenge caught a Gauriciu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionică Homeag helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Corsorul's Ionică Homeag got a free kick in the 28th minute. Augustin Sasu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabin Tănase, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Gauriciu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Cordescu came free, but Laurențiu Stoican reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Romeo Barbălată reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Laurențiu Stoican. The goal made the score 3-0. Laurențiu Stoican made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Paul Dedu sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute, Romeo Barbălată left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corsorul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Cordescu made a kick off. If Ionică Homeag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionică Homeag in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurențiu Stoican saved Gauriciu FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Tănase in the 58th minute of play forced Corsorul's goalkeeper Augustin Sasu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionică Homeag hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Edgar Cordescu took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurențiu Stoican. Laurențiu Stoican dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Gauriciu FC's Laurențiu Stoican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Barbălată in the 69th minute of play. Laurențiu Stoican showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Cordescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, Paul Dedu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Laurențiu Stoican was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Gauriciu FC booed when Corsorul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionică Homeag didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionică Homeag hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute Edgar Cordescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Stoican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gauriciu FC's Laurențiu Stoican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Barbălată in the 84th minute of play. Laurențiu Stoican made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionică Homeag in the 87th minute of play. Laurențiu Stoican didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paul Dedu went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Dedu in the 94th minute of play forced Gauriciu FC's goalkeeper Laurențiu Stoican to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Gauriciu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Cordescu came free, but Laurențiu Stoican reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Corsorul were the better team. Corsorul's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
