When Niculae Baldovin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 7 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alin Hârlău was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Narcis Ciuhandu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Alin Hârlău didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Teiusu's Adam Timaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernest Rotariu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niculae Baldovin got free with Alin Hârlău in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Niculae Baldovin came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Fauresti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niculae Baldovin couldn't finish the play. Ionuț Dinulescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernest Rotariu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Răzvan Curuțiu struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Alin Hârlău didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fauresti. 38 minutes into the match, Fauresti's Niculae Baldovin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alin Hârlău narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd play minute Niculae Baldovin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alin Hârlău. 2-0. Ernest Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Timaru in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Răzvan Curuțiu made the kick off in the second half. Alin Hârlău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Baldovin in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Răzvan Curuțiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fauresti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 58 minutes, Mădălin Casian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fauresti and the Teiusu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mădălin Casian kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Teiusu! Fauresti's Niculae Baldovin got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alin Hârlău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Curuțiu in the 76th minute of play. Narcis Ciuhandu's late challenge caught a Teiusu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narcis Ciuhandu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fauresti's Narcis Ciuhandu got a free kick in the 78th minute. Fauresti's Ernest Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Timaru in the 80th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Honciu during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Teiusu! After 87 minutes of play Fauresti's Mădălin Casian was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When Ionuț Dinulescu came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Teiusu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionuț Dinulescu couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Fauresti's goalkeeper Ernest Rotariu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ionuț Dinulescu. There was no doubt that Fauresti were the better team. Fauresti's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
