The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Frâncu got free with Cristi Oroveanu in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC.Borsa.MM's goalkeeper Cristi Oroveanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 70 played minutes FC.Borsa.MM got a freekick which was hit by Emil Hudiță. If Teodor Brânzeu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Francisc Bivolaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colonia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisc Bivolaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
