Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sandu Stănoiu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Răzvan Curuțiu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fauresti's Răzvan Curuțiu managed to work through FC.Borsa.MM's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Răzvan Curuțiu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Sandu Stănoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernest Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Stănoiu in the 17th minute of play. Cristi Oroveanu came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Fauresti's Niculae Baldovin. But to his dismay, Niculae Baldovin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Răzvan Curuțiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Oroveanu having to interfere. When Narcis Ciuhandu fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fauresti's protests and gave Narcis Ciuhandu a yellow card for diving instead. Narcis Ciuhandu hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. FC.Borsa.MM's Cristinel Cozma got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristi Oroveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Curuțiu in the 42nd minute of play. When Cristinel Cozma came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the FC.Borsa.MM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristinel Cozma couldn't finish the play. If Cristinel Cozma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that Răzvan Curuțiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristi Oroveanu was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Niculae Baldovin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Anton Enceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernest Rotariu made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Cristinel Cozma sent off a good shot on target. 3-0 became the score in the 78th minute when Răzvan Curuțiu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sandu Stănoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Rotariu having to interfere. Niculae Baldovin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fauresti had won after a very even match.
