Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jijila's Panait Dan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, George Rada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jijila's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Rada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petre Dinculescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panait Dan, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Marin Balint did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Petre Dinculescu 6 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Marin Balint managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jijila's supporters rose to their feet, but Marin Balint was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petre Dinculescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Panait Dan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Petre Dinculescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Marin Balint recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Petre Dinculescu. Marin Balint showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Colonia FC's zone, Marin Balint stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petre Dinculescu came out of the goal and Marin Balint tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. George Rada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Dinculescu having to interfere. Jijila's Gigel Teişanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Frâncu in the 26th minute of play. Gigel Teişanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisc Bivolaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Colonia FC's Francisc Bivolaru got a free kick in the 30th minute. Teodor Brânzeu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Francisc Bivolaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colonia FC's Petre Dinculescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Colonia FC from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the match, Jijila's Marin Balint sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petre Dinculescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Francisc Bivolaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Colonia FC booed when Jijila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionuț Lăzărescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute Augustin Mandache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Teişanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisc Bivolaru made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Narcis David hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigel Teişanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Frâncu in the 56th minute. Jijila's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Narcis David scored to the left of an out of position Gigel Teişanu, making the score, 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Colonia FC's zone, Panait Dan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petre Dinculescu came out of the goal and Panait Dan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodor Brânzeu kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Colonia FC booed when Jijila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Frățilă didn't get a good kick on the ball.
