Doru Vasiliu's late challenge caught a MK3 Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doru Vasiliu helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augustin Eniceicu in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidiu Lăzan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The MK3 Club fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when MK3 Club's Augustin Eniceicu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Nechifor Bot managed to get in a good position for a shot. MK3 Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Nechifor Bot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidiu Lăzan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ovidiu Lăzan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nechifor Bot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tudor Floroiu made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Flavius Bitang sent off a good shot on target. Iași's Ovidiu Lăzan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nechifor Bot in the 23rd minute of play. Tudor Floroiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Gheorghiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavius Bitang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Floroiu having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, MK3 Club's goalkeeper Tudor Floroiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavius Bitang. Ovidiu Lăzan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nechifor Bot in the 38th minute of play. Flavius Bitang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Floroiu having to interfere. Nechifor Bot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Lăzan having to interfere.

The wind increased when Augustin Eniceicu made the kick off in the second half. Nechifor Bots short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Ovidiu Lăzan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 57th minute, Leonard Gheorghiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tudor Floroiu came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Iași's Flavius Bitang. But to his dismay, Flavius Bitang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tudor Floroiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Gheorghiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Leonard Gheorghiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Floroiu having to interfere. A collision led to MK3 Club getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Nae Itoafă hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Leonard Gheorghiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iași's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Gheorghiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tudor Floroiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flavius Bitang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tudor Floroiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Nechifor Bot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Ovidiu Lăzan made a huge save. With his leg Ovidiu Lăzan managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when MK3 Club's Nechifor Bot fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Eniceicu in the 88th minute of play forced Iași's goalkeeper Ovidiu Lăzan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
