When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After some careless play in the Fc.Targu-Mures defense, Codrin Ţintă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filip Ciuvică. The Fc.Targu-Mures fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filip Ciuvică should have stopped the shot. After having played for 55 minutes, Răzvan Ţeica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ALEXANDROS TUR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Răzvan Ţeica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Lipoveanu's late challenge caught a ALEXANDROS TUR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Lipoveanu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fc.Targu-Mures getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Emanuel Lipoveanu hit a great ball.
