The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leontin Cimpoieru during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pacuraresti CSM booed when F.C. CEAHLAUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Cimpoieru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bogdan Teodoreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Zbârcea in the 6th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Bogdan Barascu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of F.C. CEAHLAUL's Bogdan Teodoreanu. Bogdan Teodoreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the game, Basarab Surugiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pacuraresti CSM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. CEAHLAUL the free kick. In the 18th match minute, F.C. CEAHLAUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Şania to maneuver through the defense. With splendid footwork Gheorghe Zbârcea arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 24th minute. Bogdan Barascu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Bogdan Teodoreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pacuraresti CSM. 28 minutes into the match, F.C. CEAHLAUL's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Zbârcea came free, but Bogdan Teodoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pacuraresti CSM's Florin Popete got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Pacuraresti CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Dobrin to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes F.C. CEAHLAUL got a freekick which was hit by Eric Birișu. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gheorghe Zbârcea made a kick off. After some careless play in the Pacuraresti CSM defense, Gavril Mazăre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isac Basarabescu. The Pacuraresti CSM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isac Basarabescu should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Pacuraresti CSM getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Costică Pamfil hit a great ball. Florin Popete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bogdan Barascu struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Bogdan Teodoreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pacuraresti CSM. When Gheorghe Zbârcea came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Pacuraresti CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gheorghe Zbârcea couldn't finish the play. Bogdan Barascu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Gavril Mazăre managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. CEAHLAUL's supporters rose to their feet, but Gavril Mazăre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isac Basarabescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 81st minute of the match Leontin Cimpoieru completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Leontin Cimpoieru a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The attack was good, but when Bogdan Barascu in the 84th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Gheorghe Zbârcea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costică Pamfil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bogdan Teodoreanu. F.C. CEAHLAUL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eugen Dobrin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd match minute, F.C. CEAHLAUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Birișu to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, F.C. CEAHLAUL's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Zbârcea came free, but Bogdan Teodoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Barascu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pacuraresti CSM walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
