Mosoiu Stars's Claudiu Chelaru got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Petrulean got free with Liviu Becheanu in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Liviu Becheanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Mugur in the 33rd minute of the match. Eric Mugur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernest Ignat hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Denis Petrulean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Liviu Becheanu made a huge save. If Gelu Bărcăuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mosoiu Stars's zone, Denis Petrulean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liviu Becheanu came out of the goal and Denis Petrulean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liviu Becheanu was a little too slow when Eric Mugur got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Augustin Ciuvică charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Eric Mugur scored 2-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Liviu Becheanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Claudiu Chelaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denis Petrulean might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Liviu Becheanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Petrulean ran back to his position shaking his head. Pasarei CF's Eric Mugur got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 played minutes, Pasarei CF's Sabin Novacovici shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Liviu Becheanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pasarei CF reached it. In the 95th minute, Eric Mugur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pasarei CF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mosoiu Stars for a fine match.
