Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ciprian Chinezu started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Oprisorul FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciprian Chinezu to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Paul Muja put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Grigore Şerb. Ciprian Chinezu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Filip Ciuvică tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grigore Şerb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nechifor Pitiș in the 19th minute of play. When Iustin Hurezan came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Fc.Targu-Mures fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustin Hurezan couldn't finish the play. After 29 minutes, Nechifor Pitiș mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc.Targu-Mures and the Oprisorul FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Fc.Targu-Mures got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Lipoveanu. Ciprian Chinezu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filip Ciuvică read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Paul Muja took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Grigore Şerb to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Nechifor Pitiș made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Oprisorul FC booed when Fc.Targu-Mures was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Lipoveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciprian Chinezu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filip Ciuvică read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute Nechifor Pitiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Şerb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 69th minute of the match Nechifor Pitiș completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nechifor Pitiș a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Nechifor Pitiș kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Cornel Apăvăloaie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Şerb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Lipoveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Muja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Oprisorul FC booed when Fc.Targu-Mures was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Şerban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciprian Chinezu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Ciuvică having to interfere. Oprisorul FC's Ciprian Chinezu got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Octavian made a great header on Oprisorul FC's corner, it was just that Fc.Targu-Mures's Filip Ciuvică managed to reach the ball for a save. Fc.Targu-Mures's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
