Vali Manu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maxim Hurmuzescu went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Eric Mugur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 34 minutes in the game, Maxim Hurmuzescu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vali Manu having to interfere. Eric Mugur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Denis Petrulean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pasarei CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Petrulean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilian Prunaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vali Manu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dragoş Pavalescu in the 44th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maxim Hurmuzescu was the one to do the kick off. If Dragoş Pavalescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augustin Ciuvică's late challenge caught a Somuzul Fălticeni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augustin Ciuvică helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pasarei CF's Augustin Ciuvică got a free kick in the 59th minute. Leontin Vişoianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Vali Manu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dragoş Pavalescu took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vali Manu. Vali Manu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 81st minute Maxim Hurmuzescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vali Manu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dragoş Pavalescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Vali Manu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Panait Nițescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Somuzul Fălticeni and the Pasarei CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Somuzul Fălticeni! When the match had been going on for 87 minutes, Pasarei CF's Dorel Căliman got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Emilian Prunaru. Somuzul Fălticeni's Dragoş Pavalescu got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Maxim Hurmuzescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pasarei CF's zone, Dragoş Pavalescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vali Manu came out of the goal and Dragoş Pavalescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxim Hurmuzescu in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vali Manu saved Pasarei CF from getting behind. Despite being the better team, Somuzul Fălticeni failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
