In the 38th minute Bogdan Barascu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vali Manu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augustin Ciuvică kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Petru Bocșa hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Vali Manu came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pacuraresti CSM's Bogdan Barascu. But to his dismay, Bogdan Barascu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bogdan Barascu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eric Mugur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vali Manu was a little too slow when Florin Popete got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-2. Eric Mugur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Basarabescu having to interfere. Vali Manu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Zbârcea in the 66th minute of the match. Bogdan Barascu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Vali Manu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bogdan Barascu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gheorghe Zbârcea struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pasarei CF's zone, Gheorghe Zbârcea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vali Manu came out of the goal and Gheorghe Zbârcea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pasarei CF's Vali Manu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Dobrin in the 79th minute of play. Bogdan Barascu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vali Manu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Zbârcea in the 92nd minute of play. Vali Manu made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Bogdan Barascu sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Pasarei CF booed when Pacuraresti CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Popete didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Eric Mugur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pasarei CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Mugur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pacuraresti CSM's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
