Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Răzvan Ţeica started the match with the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in ALEXANDROS TUR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Mosoiu Stars a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Felix Nedelcea, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ALEXANDROS TUR's Sorin Blăjan. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Răzvan Ţeica managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALEXANDROS TUR's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Ţeica was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liviu Becheanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Mosoiu Stars's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Codrin Ţintă fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 29th match minute, ALEXANDROS TUR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Colceriu to maneuver through the defense. Claudiu Chelaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sorin Blăjan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudiu Chelaru ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute, Claudiu Chelaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sorin Blăjan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mosoiu Stars's Liviu Becheanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Mosoiu Stars from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Colceriu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Liviu Becheanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Claudiu Chelaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Blăjan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, ALEXANDROS TUR's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Chelaru came free, but Sorin Blăjan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudiu Chelaru to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Codrin Ţintă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Becheanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ALEXANDROS TUR booed when Mosoiu Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Cosâmbescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Codrin Ţintă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Becheanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ALEXANDROS TUR's Sorin Blăjan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save ALEXANDROS TUR from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Chelaru in the 68th minute of play forced ALEXANDROS TUR's goalkeeper Sorin Blăjan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tudor Târban's late challenge caught a Mosoiu Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tudor Târban helped the player get up and apologised. Tudor Târban kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Mosoiu Stars's Sorin Blăjan threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudiu Chelaru, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Claudiu Chelaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, ALEXANDROS TUR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Logofeteanu to maneuver through the defense. Răzvan Ţeica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Liviu Becheanu having to make a save. Codrin Ţintă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liviu Becheanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Crăiniceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudiu Chelaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sorin Blăjan having to interfere. A collision led to Mosoiu Stars getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Vintilă Țâpu hit a great ball. Liviu Becheanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Răzvan Ţeica's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mosoiu Stars walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
