The Cernavoda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciprian Chinezu during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cernavoda booed when Oprisorul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Chinezu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Oprisorul FC's zone, Marcu Văduva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grigore Şerb came out of the goal and Marcu Văduva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iosif Spiru struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Grigore Şerb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cernavoda. Iosif Spiru took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grigore Şerb. Grigore Şerb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Martin Octavian kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Oprisorul FC's Dinu Târban managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristinel Giosu in the 79 minute of the game. Oprisorul FC's Grigore Şerb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matei Musta in the 83rd minute of play. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The Cernavoda players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
