The tension between the UimireaMaracineni and the Bayern players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bayern booed when UimireaMaracineni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Baciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matei Ferenț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Cerchez in the 11th minute of play. Nicolae Vişoianu took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matei Ferenț. Matei Ferenț dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Matei Ferenț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Vişoianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 42 minutes of play, Bayern's Nicolae Vişoianu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matei Ferenț was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolae Vişoianu to make the kick off. When Iordache Verzeanu fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayern's protests and gave Iordache Verzeanu a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Bayern got a freekick which was hit by Iordache Verzeanu. UimireaMaracineni's Valentin Agusoaei got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Matei Ferenț successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 66 minutes into the game, Eric Măgureanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UimireaMaracineni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bayern the free kick. Eric Măgureanu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. UimireaMaracineni's Matei Ferenț proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save UimireaMaracineni from getting a goal against them. Cornel Cerchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Matei Ferenț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornel Cerchez took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matei Ferenț. Bayern's Cornel Cerchez got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornel Cerchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Ferenț having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornel Cerchez got free with Matei Ferenț in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 91 in the game by Cornel Cerchez from a close distance when the talented Matei Ferenț managed to make a qualified save. UimireaMaracineni's players were relieved. UimireaMaracineni's Matei Ferenț proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save UimireaMaracineni from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, UimireaMaracineni's Matei Ferenț got control of the ball when Cornel Cerchez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Although UimireaMaracineni had been in control for most of the match, Bayern still came away with the win.
