Valentin Alecu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Isbășoiu in the 5th minute of play. Dragoş Ţopescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Valentin Alecu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gică Isbășoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihai Macamete acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Irinel Mangra. Iurie Cartiș charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iurie Cartiș the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute of the match Marin Apolzan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valentin Alecu skillfully saved the ball. Valentin Alecu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Isbășoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute of the match Marin Apolzan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valentin Alecu skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Gică Isbășoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tulesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Gică Isbășoiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Alecu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marin Apolzan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Mihai Macamete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Traian Cazacu went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gică Isbășoiu took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Alecu. Valentin Alecu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Isbășoiu in the 46th minute of play forced ★RO★DINAMO Bucuresti 1948's goalkeeper Valentin Alecu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gică Isbășoiu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 47 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Valentin Alecu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.

Gică Isbășoiu had several of the ★RO★DINAMO Bucuresti 1948's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Valentin Alecu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Valentin Alecu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dragoş Ţopescu's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Mihnea Nastac scored 2-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihai Macamete, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gică Isbășoiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Alecu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gică Isbășoiu ran back to his position shaking his head. Valentin Alecu made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Gică Isbășoiu sent off a good shot on target. If Dragoş Ţopescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Alecu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Ţopescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
