Dan Ungur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Dumitru Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Ungur took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dumitru Teodor. Dumitru Teodor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Eduard Tâlvescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dumitru Teodor. That made the score 2-1 in the 27 minute of play. Sorin Gurgui hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Eduard Tâlvescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduard Tâlvescu was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Avram Petcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Avram Petcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Iftodi having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, FC STEAUA MIZIL's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Petcu came free, but Ionică Iftodi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC STEAUA MIZIL's Dan Ungur got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Campeon Deportivo's Avram Petcu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ionică Iftodi. Ionică Iftodi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Remus Poplăcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avram Petcu in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionică Iftodi saved FC STEAUA MIZIL from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Remus Poplăcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campeon Deportivo's supporters rose to their feet, but Remus Poplăcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionică Iftodi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 83 minutes of play, FC STEAUA MIZIL's Dan Ungur made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dumitru Teodor was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to FC STEAUA MIZIL getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Marin Macarie hit a great ball. If Remus Poplăcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, FC STEAUA MIZIL's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Petcu came free, but Ionică Iftodi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Ungur might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dumitru Teodor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Ungur ran back to his position shaking his head.
