Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emil Botescu kicked off to start the match. Emil Botescu's late challenge caught a Curciu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Botescu helped the player get up and apologised. Emil Botescu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Alin Blănaru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Toader Amitroaiei. The goal made the score 1-0. Alin Pușcariu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Emil Botescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alin Blănaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Toader Amitroaiei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tudor Turcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Unciuleanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. STEAUA SAHATENI's Emil Botescu got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emil Botescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Tudor Turcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alin Blănaru to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC.
