Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aurelian Fărcășan started the match with the kick off. Eusebiu Scaeru struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Leontin Zdrelea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bastea. Eusebiu Scaeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Leontin Zdrelea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9thth minute of the game Aurelian Fărcășan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vorta UFC's Leontin Zdrelea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute, Aurelian Fărcășan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Nae Chibulcutean recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leontin Zdrelea. Nae Chibulcutean showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Aurelian Fărcășan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leontin Zdrelea was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Petru Târcă came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vorta UFC's Cristi Mărculescu. But to his dismay, Cristi Mărculescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 31st minute, Vorta UFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eusebiu Scaeru fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Irinel Șerbulescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leontin Zdrelea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Nae Chibulcutean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Zdrelea having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Aurelian Fărcășan put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leontin Zdrelea. Eusebiu Scaeru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Leontin Zdrelea made a huge save. 48 minutes into the match, Vorta UFC's goalkeeper Leontin Zdrelea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebiu Scaeru. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ovidiu Marioteanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Irinel Șerbulescu struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Leontin Zdrelea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bastea. Leontin Zdrelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irinel Șerbulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Irinel Șerbulescu in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leontin Zdrelea saved Vorta UFC from getting behind. The Bastea fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Bastea's Irinel Șerbulescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Bastea's Irinel Șerbulescu in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vorta UFC's goalie prevented a goal. Eusebiu Scaeru scored 5-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leontin Zdrelea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Irinel Șerbulescu came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Bastea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irinel Șerbulescu couldn't finish the play. When Bastea's Aurelian Fărcășan in 81 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Leontin Zdrelea guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Irinel Șerbulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebiu Scaeru in the 83rd minute of play forced Vorta UFC's goalkeeper Leontin Zdrelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Irinel Șerbulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bastea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. In the 89thth minute of the game Nae Chibulcutean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vorta UFC's Leontin Zdrelea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aurel Macamete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Zdrelea having to interfere. In the 95th minute Ovidiu Marioteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Târcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Bastea players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
