With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ovidiu Marioteanu in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tudor Turcan saved Curciu from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Alin Blănaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leontin Zdrelea was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. The Vorta UFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Curciu's performance. The match ended with a win for Curciu.
