Spectators: 6817 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emil Botescu kicked off to start the match. FC. STEAUA SAHATENI's Emil Botescu got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, FC. STEAUA SAHATENI's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Petcu came free, but Toader Amitroaiei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, FC. STEAUA SAHATENI's Emil Botescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, FC. STEAUA SAHATENI's Flavius Lucian got a free kick in the 29th minute. Toader Amitroaiei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Petcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remus Poplăcan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toader Amitroaiei having to make a save. 45 minutes into the match, Campeon Deportivo's goalkeeper Dumitru Teodor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Unciuleanu. In the 46th minute, Remus Poplăcan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Avram Petcu was the one to do the kick off. If Emanuel Unciuleanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC. STEAUA SAHATENI booed when Campeon Deportivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Caragea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Unciuleanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Dumitru Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Campeon Deportivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Caragea to maneuver through the defense. FC. STEAUA SAHATENI's Gheorghe Teodor couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Campeon Deportivo. Dumitru Teodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Unciuleanu in the 62nd minute of the match. Emanuel Unciuleanu took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dumitru Teodor. Dumitru Teodor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Avram Petcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Toader Amitroaiei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Emanuel Unciuleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Teodor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, FC. STEAUA SAHATENI's goalkeeper Toader Amitroaiei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remus Poplăcan. In the 77th minute, Emanuel Unciuleanu made a precise shot to the right of Dumitru Teodor. Campeon Deportivo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Avram Petcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 played minutes FC. STEAUA SAHATENI got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Minea. Avram Petcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC. STEAUA SAHATENI's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
