Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Eduard Tâlvescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Dan Ungur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC STEAUA MIZIL's Eduard Tâlvescu got a free kick in the 13th minute. A collision led to FC STEAUA MIZIL getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Panait Mutu hit a great ball. The long shot by Mugurel Albeanu in the 16th minute really tested Ionică Iftodi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ionică Iftodi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavius Bosioc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Felix Bîlbă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC STEAUA MIZIL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Bîlbă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Flavius Bosioc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, FC STEAUA MIZIL's Ionică Iftodi got control of the ball when Flavius Lunca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dan Ungur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Paraschiv having to interfere. Ionică Iftodi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Bosioc in the 38th minute of play. Flavius Lunca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC STEAUA MIZIL's zone, Flavius Bosioc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionică Iftodi came out of the goal and Flavius Bosioc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Barateaz UFC's Flavius Bosioc in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC STEAUA MIZIL's goalie prevented a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavius Bosioc made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Flavius Bosioc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barateaz UFC and the FC STEAUA MIZIL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Barateaz UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Bosioc to maneuver through the defense. Flavius Bosioc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Iftodi having to interfere. Flavius Lunca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Barateaz UFC booed when FC STEAUA MIZIL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Bîlbă didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Bîlbă during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute of the match Mugurel Albeanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ionică Iftodi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Panait Mutu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Mugurel Albeanu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC STEAUA MIZIL's Ionică Iftodi didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in FC STEAUA MIZIL's zone, Flavius Bosioc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionică Iftodi came out of the goal and Flavius Bosioc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, FC STEAUA MIZIL's goal looked a bit too open when Flavius Lunca came free, but Ionică Iftodi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavius Lunca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Tunaru's late challenge caught a FC STEAUA MIZIL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Tunaru helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Barateaz UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Tunaru to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match FC STEAUA MIZIL got a corner. Barateaz UFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iustin Vâlceanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Iustin Vâlceanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barateaz UFC's Aristide Paraschiv did a great save. When Flavius Bosioc came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Barateaz UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavius Bosioc couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Flavius Lunca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ionică Iftodi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Flavius Lunca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Barateaz UFC fully deserved thier win.
