An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Sava in the 79th minute of play forced Barateaz UFC's goalkeeper Aristide Paraschiv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radu Meleșcanu hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The supporters of Barateaz UFC booed when Oțelul Galați was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nechifor Petrea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Oțelul Galați's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Flavius Lunca fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Barateaz UFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
